Crochet in Place MCAL

Starting Monday, May 4th 2020 is a new mystery crochet along…. the Crochet in Place MCAL. As many of us around the world have to shelter in place right now, I thought this would be a fun project for us to crochet together while we stay at home. Clues will be given every day as listed below... Clue #1 ~ Monday, May 4th 2020 Clue #2 ~ Tuesday, May 5th 2020 Clue #3 ~ Wednesday, May 6th 2020 Clue #4 ~ Thursday, May 7th 2020 Assembly ~ Friday, May 8th 2020 The animal we are making will measure about 7 inches when completed. I used worsted weight yarn and a size D crochet hook. The kind of yarn you use, size crochet hook, and tension while crocheting will make your animal slightly vary in size. I will post clues on Facebook , Instagram , my Ravelry group , and on Ravelry in pdf form.  Make sure you join my Ravelry group to enjoy this MCAL with each other! Find the Spring MCAL here on Ravelry . Welcome to the Spring MCAL! I hope this greeting finds you and your family safe and healthy. As many of us stay inside due to the coronavirus, I think this would be the perfect timing for us to do a mystery crochet along together! The clues will be in PDF form, ready to download, starting March 24th, 2020. I am in California, please remember that I am on Pacific time.  Your finished Spring animal will measure about 11-12 inches, depending on the kind of yarn you use, the size crochet hook, and your tension while crocheting. Get the clues HERE on Ravelry as they are released. It was a very dark evening, two nights before Halloween. We were coming home from our crochet group, why was our crochet group this late at night? We all knew it was a bad idea. We walked on the quiet, dark, lonely street to our homes. In the distance we could see a little creature. He ran across the street, and disappeared out of sight. A couple of minutes later, we heard the little creature. It was such an odd noise — what kind of animal was this? None of us could make out what kind of creature this was. It was a spooky walk home. We were almost to the door —u ntil we noticed a little shadow on our doorstep, the shadow of the little creature. We asked each other, all trying to figure out what kind of little creature this was.
